  1. To be fair, he was just making a joke based off Io’s username. I just wasn’t around long enough to be 100% sure it was him, so the joke passed over my head. I’m not 100% sure of what your beef with him is, but I didn’t think I’d start up some e-fight just by asking. :/

    • I don’t really have a beef with him in particular. It’s just that myself and various other anti-gamers have been constantly accused of sockpuppeting by gamers. It’s funny that the shoe is on the other foot (or sock).

    • Just to give the benefit of the doubt: Maybe he’s describing game as what it used to mean when I was a kid, which was not putting up with a woman’s bullshit but out of your own self-respect and not as a reverse-psychology tactic to get her to like you, I wouldn’t mind either. Of course this being the internet you’re right that he probably means the new-school “pussy-begging” definition of game, AKA PUA.

I hate that that Neil Strauss guy ruined a perfectly good word and concept by conflating it with his PUA bs.

  2. It’s interesting how he embedded that line square in the middle of the article. I actually missed it first time around.

What do you guys think about shrink4men? It’s not what most would think of as typical men’s rights but I think it’s a good site to promote because I think an important because an important part of anti feminism is the first step all guys have to take of taking women collectively off the pedestal and that site seems great for that.

I’m starting to think feminism isn’t the problem. I think half ass feminism is. Feminism when it’s convenient to the woman combined with traditionalism when that’s convenient to the woman. Women get to pick between one or the other based on whichever is convenient to them at a given time.

I’m starting to think the key is not to roll back feminism but rather speed it along and focus on killing traditionalism an chivalry instead. If they want equal rights we really give it to them and stop allowing them to not pull ther weight in any area whether its paying for dates, approaching men, the courtship process, etc. Let them actually go on the frontlines of war when they join military. If a woman physically hits a man he can hit her back. True equality.

If women ever got true equality, with the burdens as well as the benefits, they would become the biggest antifeminists of all.

    • ^ Exactly. Work off the premise, always, that men and women are equal.
And that women don’t get to be spared the consequences of their actions, because that would mean that men then bear an unfair load which is unequal and goes against the feminist idea that men and women are equal.

      • This is what is called accelerationism among critical theory during the 2000s and is an emerging area of study. Essentially it is that things should be allowed to become more and more intolerable until society is either forced to collapse or turn revolutionary.

It is a very dangerous path to go down, to make things so difficult to live that people would choose death and destruction over the status quo. Rad-fems are heading down this path already, and arguably ghosts do as well. MRA forms a holding pattern and do does game. Both are utterly hostile to the idea of “pushing support for rad-fem to 11 to hasten a societal collapse” but I am seeing this pattern developing among ghosts especially the incel.

Is it a worthy cause to hitch your wagon to rad-fem in support of bringing masculinism or patriarchy back from the ashes of the society that exists now? I think there are too many unknown factors to throw my support into that arena AT THIS TIME.

        • This is a relevant quote. Replace capital with feminism where applicable:

“It is in this absolute zero of capital religion that we discover Land’s accelerationism, wherein capital “attains its own ‘angular momentum’, perpetuating a run-away whirlwind of dissolution, whose hub is the virtual zero of impersonal metropolitan accumulation. At the peak of its productive prowess the human animal is hurled into a new nakedness, as everything stable is progressively liquidated in the storm” (TA, p. 80). Benjamin Noys in his own variation of this interesting doctrine tells us that it is “an exotic variant of la politique du pire: if capitalism generates its own forces of dissolution then the necessity is to radicalise capitalism itself: the worse the better. We can call these positions accelerationist.” “

    • I’ve been reading a lot of Shrink4Men and it seems to me pretty great. It has a pretty specific focus–men who are mistreated by a wife or girlfriend–but the author is clearly sympathetic to men’s concerns and thinks feminism has gone off the rails. If reading that site gets more men to take women off of the pedestal, so much the better.

I have her on my blogroll. She’s not really an MRA, but that’s because her focus is more narrow. She does point out that women are capable of being mentally ill. While this would seem obvious, with all of the female pedestalization out there most people don’t seem to think that’s possible. Conspiracy theorists and gamers like Hawaiian Fat Blob are against her because she admits women can be mentally ill which goes against their ideology that any woman problems are caused by a man’s “lack of game”. This makes me like her even more.

This has been talked about a lot. I know PMAFT has hammered on this. Do a search from conservative female supermacism on his blog.

      • That link is just ridiculous. Yet another way Game is a cult: most cults I’ve heard of are against psychology/psychiatry, and they should be, to keep their followers from being deprogrammed by a professional. If I started a cult, I’d tell my people that psychiatrists like Shrink4Men were wrong, too.

There are problems with psychiatry because it has been politized by feminists. That’s different than how cults like the Paleo-Game Cult and Scientology are opposed to psychiatry.

        • I just read that link from Dave Hawaii and that is the scariest thing I’ve seen yet. Depressing. It totally corroborates what Alek Novy said the problem with Game is over on his blog. If anything is wrong with your girlfriend or wife, it’s always your fault because you weren’t alpha enough and need more game.

The field of psychology is not perfect and has its problems, but I’ll take my chances with a half-decent psychologist than the best Paleo-Gamer’s advice any day.

        • The field of psychology is not perfect and has its problems, but I’ll take my chances with a half-decent psychologist than the best Paleo-Gamer’s advice any day.

I agree with this even knowing all of the problems I personally have had with the field of psychiatry (specifically psychiatrists trying to force a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome on me). That tells you how insane the Paleo-Game Cult is.

        • “If anything is wrong with your girlfriend or wife, it’s always your fault because you weren’t alpha enough and need more game.”
Gee, isn’t that what CONservative and LIbEral women along with contremporary religious people , say?
Something tells me it is all about the sluts getting a second chance, so that the men who aren’t players get the damaged goods.
As for the so-called “Alpha-male” priests, they’re slaves to the whims of their congregations, and being hypocritical they will never bring those people to task. All the while counting on the resulting fame and money of being non-judgemental.

  3. Looks like AVFM is down.
I got 3 403 errors in a row, over ten minutes.

We need a quick fix to all this institutionalized misandry.

    Any ideas?

    • That link shows the problem Paul Elam has. He takes a good solid position, in this case against anti-semitism, and keeps focus on mens rights. However, he won’t completely follow through on it. A lot of conspiracy theory is about how the Jews or some proxy for the Jews or some equivalent to the Jews is behind everything. (JtO’s Leo Strauss crap fits into that.) If he’s serious about keeping anti-semitism off AVfM, he needs to get rid of the conspiracy theory too.

    • On a hunch I googled “‘ogg’ heartiste” and sure enough, it’s a commenter from Roissy’s blog. It’s scary how predictable that was.

  4. I highly recommend googling “crank magnetism.” A recent commenter here recommended that term (his name was Paul Murray I think?) and it was very enlightening.

  5. In other news, Half Sigma is now drinking Kool-Aid about the death of Andrew Breitbart. Yet another link between HBD, paranoia, and the paleo-game cult.

The paranoia is necessary since the cult treats characteristics like IQ as hard determinants instead of influencing factors. If IQ rules all, then why aren’t high-IQ individuals in top positions leading us to a new Utopia? Rather than reject the premise and believe that culture, size of government, etc., influence progress much more than genes and IQ, they double down and postulate a hidden evil behind a magic curtain that brainwashes everyone. They ironically don’t realize that sometimes, one must be extremely smart to believe something that is extremely convoluted and stupid.

TL;DR — To borrow the header from this very blog, the cultists postulate personal causes for systemic problems.

JHB, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I generally don’t spend time reading Half Sigma since he doesn’t really even try to pretend to be anti-feminist like the rest of the Paleo-Game Cult does. Reading that was very disturbing and only topped by the fact that it’s one of three posts by Half Sigma on the subject.

The paranoia is necessary since the cult treats characteristics like IQ as hard determinants instead of influencing factors. If IQ rules all, then why aren’t high-IQ individuals in top positions leading us to a new Utopia?

Actually, conspiracy theorists might say that high IQ people are in power. Ashenkazic Jews have the highest IQ of any group, and many conspiracy theorists think the Jews are running a massive conspiracy to rule the world. Many high IQ people are attracted to transhumanism (which has its own problems but that is beside the point), and conspiracy theorists are anti-transhumanism.

Much of conspiracy theory is a war on intelligence and the intelligent. The greatest conspiracy theorists of history were guys like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. Pol Pot in particular executed people who had signs of being intelligent like watches and eyeglasses.

      • Much of conspiracy theory is a war on intelligence and the intelligent.

That is an interesting point, thanks for saying that. I was always disturbed by the Roissyphere gamers obvious hatred of intelligence and the intelligent, in its more extreme form in Bardamus bizarre fantasies of violence towards completely inoffensive nerds, and in general just a mockery of intelligence and a glorification of and admiration for the brainless, primitive, low class thug, who seems to be the *ideal type* of man for Roissy and his merry band of sycophants.

I always assumed it had to do with their fantasies of what women find attractive – or an impotent hankering after virility by people with low self-esteem – but it is interesting that there is a connection between conspiracy theory and dislike of intelligence.

I suppose at the root of the conspiracy theorist is a sense of personal inferiority and a consequent hatred for everything that is successful and represents excellence of a kind.

        • I don’t know if you can say they have a hatred against the intelligent because if you look at thee obsession with hbd or human biodiversity and their touting of a proposed utopia where there is an elite class based on IQ scores and the only proof required for showing high IQ is being born white, they do prize intelligence in a way.

I don’t mean they prize actual intelligent ideas and discourse or useful real world intelligence. But they prize this weird ideal of intelligence that consists of mental masturbation in front of computer, grandiose ubermensch fantasies and being a genius just by being white middle class underachiever

        • Hmmm, good point indeed, Grizz.

Could be case of shifting values depending on context – in some contexts, stressing intelligence will make them look good, like when denigrating other races (they believe). In other contexts, their sense of their own inadequate masculinity will make them admire the primitive thug.

People who are motivated by a sense of personal inadequacy often adopt inconsistent attitudes in different contexts – their goal is not truth, but ego-preservation, which requires constantly shifting values depending on context.

Th conspiracy theorist, while full of resentment towards the intelligent, privately prides himself on how he was clever enough to see through the machinations of the conspirators.

I think this is what is going on with conspiracy theorists.

        • There’s a conspiracy to get everyone to believe in conspiracy theories.
