  1. Sad but true.
In few words, you say: “If you want to change the system, lead it. Not just criticise stupid facts.”

    I’m with you man.

  2. If you want to criticise the system, starve the beneficiaries of it and those who administer it.
That is the kind of criticism that is constructive.
It will make the system change right quick.
The next few years will grant women the opportunity to gain more independence and self-knowledge as more men ask them to step up and improve their attitudes.
After all, if they want to be desirable to many men, they are going to have to be what many men want, amirite?

  3. I love these quotes from a recent post by Roissy. It shows he still hasn’t evolved one bit.

“For if there’s one thing you quickly learn by not being a pussy with women, it’s that women are less concerned with a man’s looks than they are with his personality. Start interacting with women in a dominant, charming way, and you discover that women respond sexually — yes, sexually! — to your vibe.”

Yup, don’t be a pussy because WOMEN like it, not because it will teach you to have self respect and not care what women (or anyone) think anymore.

“They begin to like you, and think about you, and then sometimes even fall in love with you. But to get there, you have to stop being a pussy. You have to go up to women and talk to them, and keep talking to them, preferably in THE RIGHT WAY, THE WAY WOMEN LIKE, and success with them will stop being a crapshoot. It will be a result of your initiative and your boldness.”

So the right way to talk to women is the way they like. And here I thought an alpha was more concerned with whether women spoke to him the way HE liked and not the other way around. But I guess that’s what happens when your only criteria for judging alphaness is whether or not you get laid.

That definition of alpha he uses alone shows how damaging his frame is. If an alpha is the ultimate type of man and if the definition is for being alpha is whether or not women like you, then you can only become a great man through female approval.

    • “If an alpha is the ultimate type of man and if the definition is for being alpha is whether or not women like you, then you can only become a great man through female approval.”

That logical chain is so impossible to explain to a game person that it is an uitter waste of time to try and do so. Present the logic chain, and do not argue with those with disagree, because it will only go in circles.

Kind of hard to read those 16 commandments of bullshit knowing that was constitutes “your mission” is doing and saying exactly what a woman wants.

      Real Alpha.

      • It was these types of contradictions that made it obvious to me that game was bullshit.

You can also tell from these contradictions why very few gamers actually get laid. The only gamers who get laid are like PMAFT who pretty much ignores most of what game says to do.

    • Alek, that’s another great example of why I have given up on AVfM. The MRM is attracting every type of kook imaginable, but Paul Elam is incapable of dealing with this problem especially since he puts kooks like John the Other in charge of things.

    • Wow, that’s f***-up.

Guys like that perplex me anyway. Most of the feminist women I know only just kind of tolerate wussy kiss-ass guys (i.e. the type of guy that manosphere bloggers call “maginas”); they don’t actually act like they respect them. Then again, most of the feminists I know aren’t themselves misandrist. There are some non-misandrist feminist women out there, you know! One of the things I never really understood about “manosphere” blogs is that they talk about “feminists” as if that’s all one category and as if feminists don’t all disagree *with each other* about a bunch of stuff! Of course W&N would say – justifiably! – “where were these types when I was falsey accused?” Good question! Maybe I’m just lucky but I’ve known, been good friends with, and dated attractive girls who were unabashedly feminist but would look at injustice like false accusations and speak out about them. Heck, I’m sure some readers of this blog would look at what I write here and just say “oh, oh, you’re just a deluded kiss-ass mangina yourself!” Well, whatever….everybody’s entitled to their opinion. C’est la vie. Besides, that’s what the internet allows – say what you want, you know.

      • Yeah do you believe it.. Our taxes are paying for Futrelles welfare check so that he can feed his fat face and blog about feminism. This is why I always vote republican.

      • One of the things I never really understood about “manosphere” blogs is that they talk about “feminists” as if that’s all one category and as if feminists don’t all disagree *with each other* about a bunch of stuff!

That’s because the disagreements between feminists are irrelevant to men. Susan Walsh arguing with Amanda Marcotte over some minor point like sex postivism is irrelvant to my situation and the situation to nearly all men. They all agree on the important stuff.

Of course W&N would say – justifiably! – “where were these types when I was falsey accused?” Good question!

Since you haven’t been able to come up with a reason why, then it’s clear that the reasons I can discern must be correct.

Maybe I’m just lucky but I’ve known, been good friends with, and dated attractive girls who were unabashedly feminist but would look at injustice like false accusations and speak out about them.

Yet, I’m sure you will never be able to provide evidence of this.

        • What kind of evidence do you want? Most people here are using pseudonyms anyway.

        • What kind of evidence do you want?

Any type of hard evidence will do. I hear from a lot of people like you that not all feminists (or women in general) are into false accusations and don’t support injustice against men. Yet, these feminists (or women) are never anywhere to be found when I or any other man is the victim of a false accusations or experincing some injustice due to feminism/women. Those are the facts.

On another blog this issue came up, and some woman said that women were standing up for men “in their heads”. That doesn’t count. Without real action from women, it’s clear that women support feminism (including most of those women who consider themselves “anti-feminist”) and all of its injustice.

        • The work of Christina Hoff Sommers probably provides some good evidence. Although some feminists criticize her, she’s said she considers herself and equity feminist. She’s advocated quite strongly against misandry; perhaps the best known example is her book The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men (New York: Simon & Schuster, 2001). Most of Sommers’ work is very well-researched and backed up with a lot of evidence – something her critics cannot always provide themselves. Perhaps you’re tempted to answer something like “she’s just saying stuff and not actually doing anything” but by producing well-researched work she *is* doing something. Gathering hard evidence to refute others is itself hard work. Sommers deserves credit for this.

  4. Well:
Many of the blogs you are criticizing are run by religious people, and many of them (either due to personal ego or religious conviction) are not amenable to reasoned argument – take Patriactionary for example: they actually had a post up where one of the arguments against mining the moon was the effect on the tides and were totally unable to admit to that argument being bad science based on any kind of current technology – do you really think they give a shit about divorce or any of that stuff if it gets in the way of their religious doctrines? I don’t.

Most of the “manosphere” is reactionary and focused on other subjects. It’s true that pretty much everyone agrees that marriage needs reformed but many of them have overriding objectives that have nothing to do with that per-se and so they don’t focus on that subject and to be fair, others are just resigned.

I’ve done some activism, donated time and a little money. Alas, I’ve never marched and I keep forgetting to join an organization like NCFM. Sad as it is, I bet I’ve done more concrete stuff than most of the people on your blogroll.

That being said, its finally at least obvious that AWARENESS – even in the popular culture – has increased tremendously. Small and powerless as MRA’s and their issues are now, it was worse back in 1998.

    • Many of the blogs you are criticizing are run by religious people, and many of them (either due to personal ego or religious conviction) are not amenable to reasoned argument

I don’t think religion has anything to do with it. There are plenty of non-religious kooks in the so called “manosphere”.

do you really think they give a shit about divorce or any of that stuff if it gets in the way of their religious doctrines? I don’t.

No, I don’t, but then why are they here? Why are they coming to a place presumably about mens rights? Why don’t they form their own “reactionarysphere” or “kookosphere” and leave the MRM alone. I can’t even go to a place like A Voice for Men without constantly coming across kooks 20 levels deep.

That being said, its finally at least obvious that AWARENESS – even in the popular culture – has increased tremendously. Small and powerless as MRA’s and their issues are now, it was worse back in 1998.

That is true, but its in spite of so called “manosphere” and most the current MRM. Awareness has increased not because of the actions of the MRM, but because the situation has gotten do bad and impossible to ignore. Most men who have gained awareness have never heard of the manosphere and the online MRM. That’s a good thing since nothing causes reasonable men to go away faster than kooks everywhere.

    • Nope. Many are atheists. I think you’re just trying to pin the blame on religion again, when religion plays a minor role in this. Most feminists and CTs hate religion because they see it as:

      – oppressive to women
      – a big conspiracy
      – the greatest story every told
-Alex Jones is always right and is a great patriot

      There we go.

      • Quite a few women use religion as the new feeding ground for a second shot at a family, after getting off the cock carousel.
With the idea that “Jesus has forgiven me and so should any man I am with”, “Hate the sin, not the sinner”, “Only God can judge me”, “Cast a stone ye who has not sinned” and “You are not a real Christian if you can’t accept a fallen woman”.
These same fornicators dress in bridal white and exchange sacred vows in the house of God.
Do you really think women say religion is patriarchal? Not when they can use it as a cudgel against men.

  5. What saddens me is most of the posters at so called mens rights sites would rather bitch about getting friendzoned by some slut than to even do online activism.

    • It looks like the feminists are seeking to make activism impossible.

I seen stories of feminists standing in the way of domestic violence shelters being build just because it was intended to help men.

  6. The real world action is in religion. It’s true that not all religions support patriarchy, but all meaningful real world action in support of patriarchy only occurs today within religion. In other words, the action is in some religions like Islam, Orthodox Judaism, Anabaptist Christianity, and Orthodox Christianity.

Those worrying divorce court are worrying about the wrong issue. This is a culture war, not a legal or political war.

  7. BP I owe you an apology

I used to say you’re exaggerating and going too far into paranoia when you made statements like “women will want to imprison men like me everywhere, not just at work” – I’m paraphrasing badly, but you know what I mean.

It is now reality… Sexual harrasment vague laws will now be applied to all contexts… Where men women can get any man anywhere punished on completely subjective grounds and “feeling” uncomfortable.

From a story today in the UK

Also among the clauses is one that will outlaw ‘unwanted verbal, non-verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature with the purpose or effect of violating the dignity of a person, in particular when creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment’.

Not vague and subjective at all… Now a woman can say she merely disliked the way a man merely looked at her in a starbucks or the tone of voice a neighour used when greeting her, and he will be legally punishable.

I wish this was april fools’

    • Men who find it difficult to keep female attention, know the truth about most women.
Just because you’re paranoid, doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.
Every man mid-20s and up should realise that any woman suddenly showing interest in him …
wants him to be her retirement plan.

Women hate men who do not increase their own status, pay for them, allow themselves to be used, or who can be blamed for their own problems.

    • Remember I’m not a paranoid conspiracy theorist. I have always been about rational evidence based thinking, but I’m now even more committed to rational evidence based thinking because of all the insane nutjobs in the so called manosphere. That means you know I’m not prone to paranoid rants. If I say something, you know it’s rational and evidence based. I was able to determine from the evidence that women desired to expand “sexual harassment” as a weapon against men they find unattractive. It’s that simple.

  8. Until the MRM can attract a better quality of men than the conspiracy-obsessed failed psych major Paul Elam and the ex-satanist homosexual Jack Donovan, it will continue to be a joke. Donovan wrote a laughable article for Alternative Right claiming that it was better for a man to commit suicide than to ask for help:

    http://www.alternativeright.com/main/blogs/virtus/why-not-suicide/

There are far too many people like him who post on both pure MRM and so-called Manosphere sites and make people think the MRM is somehow connected with neopagans, Hitler-revisionism, white nationalism and HBD. Throw in cuckold fetishists like Whiskey, who worship at the altar of black masculinity, and you’ve got quite the freak show.

  9. I think most people that you see on these sites are too distracted by personal problems, mental problems, or sexual scarcity to be serious activists. I am no stranger to such problems myself, but I realize that getting a bunch of messed up guys together is not exactly conducive to forming a coherent movement.

Most non-messed up guys tolerate the system, and continue to believe in it, even when they get burned by it. The guys who are forced to the margins of society (for whatever reason) are with few exceptions the only ones you see blogging about MRM-related stuff on the internet.

You are an interesting case because while you’ve been forced to the margins sexually, you have done very well in the job world. This makes you more put together than most people in the manosphere. Maybe you should seek out those in a similar situation and forget about all the other guys. You have the money; maybe you could start something.
