  1. “The only thing that makes them unique is white supremacism, conspiracy theory, strange diets, collapse porn, lifestyle bullshit, being Ron Paultards, and attempts to break into “markets” who want nothing to do with them like MRAs and men in long term relationships”

I don’t agree with a single one of these things. Not sure where you’re getting it from. (Other than not being sure what you mean by ‘lifestyle bullshit’

    • On your blogroll you have a special place of honor for Roissy under the heading “Absolute Best of the Manosphere” yet you claim to be against white supermacism, conspiracy theory, strange diets, collapse porn, etc., all things which Roissy constantly drones on and on about? You’re either a liar or totally clueless about the peope you choose to look up to. That’s like me saying National Review is one of the best magazines out there but then turning around and saying I don’t believe in conservative politics.

      • It’s funny because another manosphere defender a few threads ago named Leap of Beta said the same thing here. He got offended at being accused of sympathizing with racists, yet he explicitly praised Jack Donovan and some other guys, all of whom where white nationalists, as leading lights of the manosphere and great influences for men.

I think some guys are so naive and desperate to learn pussy-begging they force themselves to not notice a lot of the more noxious aspects of their heroes.

        • This is just another example of how manosphere morons have no new ideas. Every one of them who has come here as tried to pull, “I don’t know what you’re talking about”. They’re incredibly stupid if they think it’s going to work on us or if they actually believe it.

      • You can believe in certain parts of what somebody thinks or of a theory without subscribing to the entire thing. Eg you can be a conservative and be anti gay marriage but also have reasons for being in favour of gun restrictions. Just because you vote for a certain politician doesn’t mean you agree with 100% of what they stand for. Chances are they support certain things you do and certain things you don’t, but you back them for the good things. Doesn’t mean you’re endorsing EVERYTHING. I thought you guys would be intelligent enough to understand those nuances.

        • Just because you vote for a certain politician doesn’t mean you agree with 100% of what they stand for. Chances are they support certain things you do and certain things you don’t, but you back them for the good things. Doesn’t mean you’re endorsing EVERYTHING.

The analogy you are using does not apply to what you are doing here. This is not a case of someone claiming to be an avid supporter of someone yet not believing in 100% of the same beliefs. What you are doing is claiming to be an avid supporter of someone, yet claiming to not believe in 90% of their beliefs and in addition acting shocked and amazed that people claim they even HAVE that belief system.

In your case according to your “logic,” when you say you support someone’s world view, the listener should somehow know that means you are only aware of and support 10% of that person’s ideology at most and not the vast majority of it.

But according to you somehow WE’RE the unintelligent ones who don’t understand nuance, because we not deranged enough to anticipate such retard-logic.

You really have no idea how stupid you are. At first I thought you were a liar, but no, you’re really just that dumb. You’re actually too dumb to ever fully grasp how dumb you are. It’s a tragic irony.

        • I was an avid supporter of Romney and opposed Obama on the vast majority of his policies. But I’m a great admirer of some of his speeches and stances, including this one yesterday in the aftermath of that tragic shooting.

That doesn’t make me a Democrat. It doesn’t mean I support higher taxes, gay marriage, or dozens of other Obama positions. Any more than it means I support somebody’s view on race because I agree with their view on shit tests, or a dozen other examples I could give.

Grow up and stop trying to apply your weak, irrational logic.

        • 90%? Where are you pulling this shit out of?

          *sigh*

In the first comment to this post you said:

I don’t agree with a single one of these things [“things” being white supremacism, conspiracy theory, strange diets, collapse porn, lifestyle bullshit, being Ron Paultards, and attempts to break into “markets” who want nothing to do with them like MRAs and men in long term relationships]. Not sure where you’re getting it from. (Other than not being sure what you mean by ‘lifestyle bullshit’

Since that is a large part of what the Roissysphere is about, for you to say that you don’t agree with any of it yet consider Roissy as the absolute greatest of the manosphere like you claim in your blogroll is like saying you support a movement or a leader but disagree with a vast majority of its actual belief system.

This is very different than saying you avidly support a candidate but don’t agree with 100% of what he says. That is normal and commonplace. What you’re doing is saying is more like “I avidly support this candidate, even though I disagree with a vast majority of his core beliefs.”

        • I was an avid supporter of Romney and opposed Obama on the vast majority of his policies. But I’m a great admirer of some of his speeches and stances, including this one yesterday in the aftermath of that tragic shooting.

So you oppose Obama and disagree with a vast majority of his policies, but can admire some of his speeches and stances? That’s normal and understandable. However that’s not analagous to what you are doing with the Roissysphere.

See, a better analogy is if you claimed to be opposed to Obama and the vast majority of his policies, yet posted a link to his website on your blogroll that was highlighted more prominently than any other site linked on your blogroll, under the subheading “ABSOLUTE BEST of Politicians” then went around websites persistently defending the Democractic party, then acting surprised by saying “Why on earth do you think I support those left-wing policies? Why do you think the Democrats are left-wing.”

How you describe your relationship to Obama’s image is not analogous to your relationship to the Roissysphere because you aren’t going around calling Obama the best politics has to offer or enthusiastically going to bat for him on detractor websites. You’re just admitting a selective respect for Obama. It’s a poor analogy.

        • You can believe in certain parts of what somebody thinks or of a theory without subscribing to the entire thing.

There’s a name for that when it comes to game, non-Roissyite gamers. If you don’t believe in white supremacism, the paleo diet, conspiracy theory, etc., but you do believe in game, then why are you in the Roissysphere? There is an entire community of gamers outside of the Roissysphere that has none of that bullshit. They’re at least 1000 times more numerous than the Roissysphere so you can’t miss them. If you really don’t believe in white supremacism, the paleo diet, conspiracy theory, and the rest of all that bullshit, then you would be part of a different game community. Being in the Roissysphere means you’re either a moron or a liar.

        • Because Roissy has a better understanding of GAME and male-female dynamics than anyone else out there. I challenge you to find ANYTHING about white superacism (in fact white supremacists attacking me for being too soft is one of the few comments I’ve ever blocked), pales diets (which I don’t subscribe to) or conspiracy theories (again, which I don’t subscribe to and think are a load of shit).

My blog is about GAME. Male-female dynamics. Spending a couple of minutes on there will make that the most obvious thing in the world.

I’ve accounted for myself gentlemen, and am bored of your baseless and meaningless attacks. If you continue this line of attack after I’ve accounted for myself again and again, then it’s you who are liars. Best wishes.

        • Because Roissy has a better understanding of GAME

That is impossible. All Roissy has done is copy from other gamers like Mystery, Neil Strauss, Tyler, & Eben Pagan. The only thing Roissy has “contributed” to game is connecting with bullshit like white supremacism, the paleo diet, conspiracy theory, etc. If you’re not interested in any of those things, you either would get game direct from the source or are a moron. The only conclusion we can draw is that you’re a moron or a liar.

        • Dude you obviously haven’t read any of his stuff (or any of the others) because that’s patently untrue.

I’m done with your hatefulness and how completely and utterly off the mark you are. Goodbye.

        • Honestly, you can set your watch by these guys.

About once a month we get some Game missionary trying to convince us to know the joy of letting Roissy into our life. Next, someone points out a few of the blatant contradictions in the Game movement and we start the Dance of the True Scotsman, like so:

Mr Sane: Gamers say X, but in reality, it’s Y

Game Missionary: No, when Gamers say X, they actually mean Z

Mr Sane: But people have shown that Z isn’t true either

GM: No, they mean the other Z….

And so on for the next 48-72 hours until his failure to shift any snake oil leads our big, butch, ALPHA! visitor to have a girly melt-down and announce that we’re all meany poo-poo heads and that he is totally going for ever so there!

  2. “They think they invented ideas like hypergamy, but they didn’t. ”
And even if they had, it wouldn’t matter.

  3. hahahaha,

TGMP has an interview with “mighty” Jack Donovan…

    http://goodmenproject.com/ethics-values/the-good-life-the-way-of-men-interview-with-jack-donovan/#comments

he “rubs elbows” with the white nationalists…

if I call that guy a jerk, I must be an evilllllle homaphobe….

someone call Hugo Schwyzer, he want’s “to have a drink with me” behind closed doors during his “office hours” at his creepy community college. No, Mr. Skeezer, I’m not one of your student’s so I won’t have sex with you on your office desk. But, y’know, it’s now rape if you refuse to have sex with a feminist, even a male one these days….

–import the flashing sarcasm button from the manboobz buffooon–

  4. Got to disagree with you this time, TBP.

The defining feature of these guys is that they want to turn it all into a morality tale. They’re total sex ninjas so they’re better than us. OTOH, any problems any of us guys have are simply because we’re too lazy and gutless to, like, get some game.

Of course, some may say that in so far as their philosophy treats female approval as the highest good it’s just a little manginaesque… but that probably just our weak, irrational logic talking.

  5. Hot young things seem to have a de facto rule over society. Most men seeks a HYT/s for pleasure, pride and validation. If women look at you and giggle, what use are you to society? Women hold a hatred for virgins and incels that is only reserved for pedophiles and pimps. Yet these two unlucky folks give nobody trouble.

What’s offensive is that HYTs behave as they please, from jaywalking to taunting to flaking, and noone will hold them to account for it. A woman can avoid a ticket from an officer simply by charm. She can influence the outcome of a verdict by shedding tears in the courtroom. HYTs are fully aware of their power on society. The politicians and business owners are men, but the beneficiaries…well, you know.

Introverted and deep thinking men pedal the products of a prosperous society – from TVs and smartphones to cosmetics and hygiene products. The HYTs use and consume as thanklessly and passively as they take, take and take. They turn down brains, kindness of heart and mildness of character for a momentary and thrilling pleasure that only fulfills emotionally labile and sexually incontinent tots like them. The dregs of society cost billions a year in incarceration and monitoring. In addition, they are not ‘economic producers’ (to borrow from Sowell) like the socially awkward omegas and the kind betas. But HYTs will eagerly give them attention, a very precious (and fleeting) commodity that must only be invested on the sexually attractive.

A first world nation with high standards of living needs nerds: doctors, engineers and scientists. Do you want to live in a valley in the Afghan highlands, where disease must be endured with steadfastness and justice served by tribal elders? Besides, a nerd today is an accomplished man at 28, making a 100k per annum, driving a nice car and just about enough saved money to purchase a decent home. At 28, a HYT gets babies rabies and will need someone to fund her American dream. A 500-square foot McMansion in the most isolated and disconnected part of a city is not a rational purchase. It would not be pursued by a straight-thinking and self-reliant person, only an entitled and demanding creature i.e. a faded HYT who hasn’t lost her snowflake mentality to repeated rejection.

Roissy (or should we say Jimmy Hoffmann), you and your ilk are nothing more than oxygen thieves. You sit in an armchair all day, dictating how people who contribute to science and progress should feel about themselves and imparting your wisdom to…well, who pays attention to you anyway? Very ironic for someone earning his entire income from an omega invention. “Go out, get laid…” Nah, thanks. Why should I play mind games with someone who demands that she be wooed, charmed and entertained by pretentious bravado before granting access to her pussy? Straightforwardness and simplicity of truth constitute the meaning of all-too commonly used word – honesty. Women do not practice honesty, nor do they respect or respond to sexually. You have to reveal as little about yourself to get punany.

Lift weights, adopt a sport, cook your own food, read the classics, get Netflix, torrent classic and independent movies, play videogames and save up money. The only reason marriage is expensive is…wait for it…the most eager slaves of American consumerism…women. Kids are expensive only when their mother spends on them. When you see a hottie walking down the street, turn up your nose and continue walking. This is the triumph of reason over passion, the first brick of Western civilization.

Get an escort from time to time. More straightforward than a flaky chick, with a guaranteed hell of a sexual experience. Unlike Roissy’s one-night stands, most of which are awkward and crappy. And be careful with LTRs, they are less ‘meaningful’ and more stressful when there is a constant need of game to avert nagging (shit test he said) and extract sex from a dumb broad.* Personally, I can’t stand neurosis, so there you have it.

*A Muslim woman gives herself to her husband on demand, not because he’s ALPHA, but because she doesn’t want to go to hell. Think about that. Muslim men are indeed agitated, but not stressed out or exhausted. Think about that too.

  6. I forgot to add…once you go your own way, focus on simple and essential self-development and tell the hotties to fuck off, the hotties will rebound with their tits out and panties down. Woe befall the man who forsaketh a maiden fair, the maiden retreateth not but will really want to fuck you.

There is always a look of confidence and glow of health in a man who is SELF-RELIANT: an obsolete Anerican trait that the world once admired.

  7. Off-Topic.
The Black Pill, do you, or do you know of any MRA/manosphere sites that have report-style webpages on webmasters/bloggers that are harmful to the movement? I know that you have many pages on various characters (such as Hawain Libertarian) but nothing that is condensed into a single easily viewable page. It could be useful to neophytes to the MRA/Manosphere, so that they don’t end up being grossly misled (by pseudo-MRAs such as Manboobz).

(Of course, just because someone once held a misandric view, or proclaimed a misleading opinion doesn’t mean that they should always be brandished a ‘heretic’. Warren Farrell is a perfect example of this: moving from NOW member, to author of pro-male books.)

I was thinking along the lines of report something like the following:

    Real Name:
    Online Aliases:
    Websites they Own:
    Misandric Views they Support/Proclaim:
    Hypocritical Beliefs:
    [etc]

    • I don’t know of any such sites. I could do something like that, but there’s only less than 5 people to document at this point. Most of the so called manosphere is made up of nobodies. Their blogs get hardly any hits so a page on them would only benefit their blogs by giving them more visibility. The more famous manosphere personalities are manginas who have for the most part explicitly declared themselves to be opposed to the MRM like Roosh, Matt Forney, Frost, etc. Pages on them would obviously be pointless. That leaves Roissy, Hawaiian Fat Blob, and maybe one or two others. Ever since the Great Roissyite DC Meetup of Doom, manosphere blogs have been dropping like flies which means that these people will probably go away soon. Even if they aren’t going away anytime soon, it’s not like Roissy or Hawaiian Fat Blob keep their views hidden. All you have to do is read a few posts from their blogs to find their racism, conspiracy theory, etc. Their blogs speak for themselves so that means that anyone who argues with us either hasn’t read their blogs or is sympathetic to their views. More documentation will not help even when they haven’t read their blogs. I have been through this before. I got into an argument with Paul Elam over this. He said that I was wrong about Hawaiian Fat Blob, but he refused to read his blog and refused to read the links I gave him that documented the evidence of my claims. All the documentation in the world won’t make someone read it.

The only case where it could make a difference (and maybe I should do this) is create a page of the conspiracy theory at A Voice For Men. That is buried on their site, and the posts where I document it is buried in my archives.

(Of course, just because someone once held a misandric view, or proclaimed a misleading opinion doesn’t mean that they should always be brandished a ‘heretic’. Warren Farrell is a perfect example of this: moving from NOW member, to author of pro-male books.)

While I agree with you, that isn’t a problem in this case. The so called manosphere has gotten more misandrist and insane over time, not the other way around.

      • Thanks for the reply.

‘Their blogs get hardly any hits so a page on them would only benefit their blogs by giving them more visibility.’
‘[..] these people will probably go away soon.’

I hadn’t considered that. I haven’t looked into the popularity of different MRM/manosphere sites so I’ve no idea how many hits they get.

It just seems unfortunate that people get sucked into it, sucked in by the froth/exuberance/misdirected energy of certain bloggers and waste their time going down cul-de-sacs which help no one. Eternal Bachelor (http://eternalbachelor.blogspot.co.uk/) and Fred-X were well known blogs of the manosphere a few years ago, and they descended into pointless ranting/cursing about injustices in society rather than providing any way of remedying the problems. They ended up going off line after a year or two, much like Ferdinand Bardamu.

Either that or you could get sucked into the ‘conspiracy’ side – which is to be expected to a certain extent, after all you are questioning a former world-view (men and women are equal) which you then find out is completely untrue, so it’s reasonable that you would begin to question other ‘accepted truths’, and then others etc. It’s a change in mindset I suppose: questionning rather than accepting anything that people say. Unfortunately some end up taking it too far (Henry Makow springs to mind).

But, as you said, most of these types of site end up running out of steam, or proverbially blowing up, so logging them in a MRA type ‘Book of the Dead’ would be fruitless, because the website/blog would probably be offline a few months after you’d made a report on them.

        • AAB, it’s not just the guys who get sucked in. Another aspect of this problem is that a lot of men in these parts “declare neutrality” and don’t bother to investigate what the nuts are actually saying. There’s too many of the “neutrals” to document so there is nothing to be done other than calling out a major personality like Paul Elam (which I have done in the past).

  8. This will surprise no one, but I went over to Roissy’s and sure enough there are people claiming that Adam Lanza the school shooter just needed game. To my knowledge though no manosphere bloggers themselves have made that post yet but it’s still so sadly predictable.

  9. You know what I love about these occasional wanderers who come into this blog to defend Roissy as their god? Roissy own former best friend, Virgil Kent, has all but come out and admitted that Roissy is a keyboard jockey huckster. This quote is from the following post: http://nexxtlevelup.com/everything-else/deception-is-brutal.

“Others switch to blogging about future race riots and only explaining about game from the analyst box never taking the field.”

So no matter what he did in the past, the Roissy you are worshipping now for his “game insights,” conveniently ignoring the racial/eugenics stuff, is someone who doesn’t even practice game. SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HIM HAS VERIFIED IT.

    Go take a cold shower.

  10. Shackleford, it also confirms something I’ve theorized about Roissy for a long time: he’s actively been trying to put his “secret identity” back into Pandora’s box. First there is the ridiculous assertion that the original Roissy is now “retired” and there is a new group of writers, all of whom have mastered the “house style” of ridiculously overwrought purple prose and layers of mixed metaphor. Then there was the way he dumped the Roissy name and original website address without giving readers his new address, and how the new address was just the old site completely cloned.

After Lady Raine outed him, he needed a way to become anonymous again. So he changes his name to heartiste, gets a new URL, and pretends he no longer writes the blog, all so that he can get a semblance of anonymity again. This new post by VK confirms it, that he has made many of his new decisions as a way to get anonymity and help him with his long-term relationships and that he doesn’t game anymore. But most importantly, it confirms there is no group of writers. (Not something us sane people believed anyway). The funny thing is, even though one of his own real life former friends confirms there is no group of ghost writers and confirms he is just a giant keyboard jockey, his acolytes will still believe what they want to believe.

    • Yeah, that sounds about right. The “house style” comment from Return of Kings you are referring to has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. I also love all the “what happened to Roissy?” comments you see all over the place, where are people are “surprised” that he talks about race all the time now, like he wasn’t before.

      • What’s really interesting about that paragraph where VK mentions Roissy, he is discussing how various game bloggers react to being outed to their girlfriends. So apparently his tactics to create this new anonymity and distance from his original incarnation is in response to being outed to some chick. This guy who paints this phony Californication persona of being totally unmoved and unfazed by and unreactive to chicks and having total amused mastery over them changed his whole online persona, created a myth he wasn’t writing the blog anymore, and focused more on racism because of a chick? To the defenders who come over here, THIS is your hero?

The “house style” comment from Return of Kings you are referring to has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read

The house style thing long predates the Return of Kings post, it’s been floating around for years, since right after the Lady Raine debacle conveniently enough.

I also love all the “what happened to Roissy?” comments you see all over the place, where are people are “surprised” that he talks about race all the time now, like he wasn’t before.

I don’t know what’s worse, the people who claim to not notice the racism even to this day, or the people who notice it and claim to be against it but read anyway because pussy-begging advice is that important to them. Even if pussy-begging is that important to you, which is a sad in itself, like Blackpill points out there are plenty of more legit sites to get that same pussy-begging advice from, from guys who actually live that life and don’t add the extra baggage of overwrought prose, mixed metaphors, doom porn, and race war rhetoric to the mix. Even worse is that there are black and hispanic guys who defend Roissy by claiming he’s not racist, or saying that they don’t care because his game advice is supposedly that good. How bad is pussy worship when you are willing to ally yourself with a WN just to get pussy begging tips?

Two perfect threads to illustrate how dumb some people are:
